    The anatomy of a strong prompt

    A good shot prompt answers the questions a cinematographer would:

    • Subject - who or what, with concrete detail.
    • Action - what the subject does.
    • Shot type - wide, medium, close-up, extreme close-up.
    • Camera movement - static, slow push-in, dolly, pan, handheld follow, crane.

    Lens feel: wide-angle (expansive) · normal · telephoto (compressed) · macro · shallow vs deep depth of field.

    Combine one from each axis and you've described a real shot.

    Technique that beats prompt-tweaking

    1. Compose, then animate. For shots that need exact framing, generate the still first (precise control), then animate with image-to-video. This beats wrestling text-to-video into the composition you want.
    2. Generate coverage. Run several takes and select the best, like a real shoot.
