Luma AI's video app, built on its Ray video models
Luma Dream Machine is the AI video app from Luma AI. Dream Machine runs on Luma's own Ray family of video models, with newer Ray versions released over time, and Luma also offers its models to developers through an API.
Luma's video models are known for natural, smooth motion and strong image-to-video, where a still becomes the first frame of a shot. Luma has also introduced tools such as keyframes, quick draft previews and, with Ray3, high dynamic range output. That suits atmospheric establishing shots, camera moves through a space and gentle character motion.
Luma Dream Machine is not available in Cinemagiq. For image-to-video with start and end control, Kling O3 takes a first frame and an optional last frame for 3 to 15 seconds. Hailuo 2.3 is built for cinematic motion from a prompt or a first frame, in 6 or 10 second clips. Seedance 2.5 works from a prompt, frames or references, up to 30 seconds.
Luma Dream Machine isn't available in Cinemagiq. These models cover similar work.
No. Luma Dream Machine and Luma's Ray models are not available in Cinemagiq. For similar image-to-video work, the Generation Studio offers Kling O3, Hailuo 2.3 and Seedance 2.5, and every clip lands in your project's Asset Hub.
Kling O3 is the closest match for animating a still, with a first frame and an optional last frame. Hailuo 2.3 focuses on cinematic motion in 6 or 10 second clips. Seedance 2.5 adds optional sound and runs up to 30 seconds.
Luma Dream Machine is known for natural motion and strong image-to-video. It suits atmospheric establishing shots, camera moves through a space and concept stills that need to come alive, with keyframes to control where a shot starts and ends.
Luma Dream Machine is made by Luma AI. It runs on Luma's own Ray video models, and Luma also offers those models to developers through its API. It is a separate app, so clips made there are not part of your Cinemagiq project.
Cinemagiq runs the leading video, image and audio models in one AI-native workspace, so you can pick the right one per shot.
